Juventus in need of another defender, opens talks for Todibo transfer

Juventus has initiated negotiations for the transfer of Jean-Clair Todibo, currently playing on loan at West Ham from Nice.

Details: While Renato Veiga is set to arrive at Juventus tomorrow, the club is still searching for another defender and has opened talks for Todibo. According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal could involve a loan with an option to buy.

With Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal sidelined for the season due to knee injuries, Juventus has consistently emphasized the need for more than one new defensive signing.

Last summer, Todibo joined West Ham on loan from Nice with an obligation to buy under certain conditions. However, this clause could be nullified if the defender makes a winter move to Turin.

As an alternative, Juventus is also considering Lloyd Kelly from Newcastle United.

Background: Earlier today, Juventus officially announced the signing of PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani.
