Juventus hopes for club competition over Cambiaso
Juventus is hoping that Liverpool and Bayern Munich will join the race for defender Andrea Cambiaso to boost his transfer value. The Turin club needs to cover a financial shortfall by June 30, especially after the dismissal of Thiago Motta.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus requires around 30 million euros to balance the budget by the end of the financial year. One possible solution could be the sale of Cambiaso, who has caught the attention of top European clubs.
It was previously reported that Manchester City had already reached a preliminary agreement with the player, but the Bianconeri are hopeful that the competition for him will intensify. Bayern had previously shown interest in the defender, and Liverpool might consider him as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Besides Cambiaso, Juventus is contemplating the sale of Dušan Vlahović, whose contract expires in 2026, though the Serbian striker has yet to attract as much interest. The club might also part ways with Samuel Iling-Junior, Federico Gatti, and Kenan Yildiz if they receive lucrative offers.
