Juventus has signed the "new Dybala" from Boca Juniors

Juventus has officially acquired the young talent from Boca Juniors, Francisco Martin Barido. The 16-year-old midfielder's contract with the Turin club runs until June 2026.

Martin Barido has been dubbed the "new Paulo Dybala" for his creative play in the center of the field. The attacking midfielder, who just turned 16 on January 1st, will join the Juventus youth academy.

As a member of the Argentine national team under 15, he plays the role of a creative attacking midfielder, operating behind the forwards. Additionally, Barido holds Croatian citizenship. While Barcelona had shown interest in the young player for several years, Juventus proved to be more persistent and secured a deal with him.

One of the factors influencing Martin Barido's choice of the Bianconeri is that his parents have been living and working in Italy for several years.
