The leadership of Turin's Juventus has initiated discussions with forward Dusan Vlahovic regarding the prospect of signing a new agreement.

The club is highly pleased with the current form of the Serbian striker and aims to secure a long-term contract with him. Vlahovic's existing deal with the Bianconeri expires in two years.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the outcome will directly hinge on whether Juventus qualifies for the Champions League at the end of the season. If Massimiliano Allegri's team fails to secure a top-four finish, the club may be compelled to sell the forward in order to alleviate the wage bill.

Earlier reports suggested that Juventus and Vlahovic have disagreements regarding the terms of the new contract.

The Serbian national team player boasts the best minutes-to-goal ratio in Serie A throughout his career: he scores once every 119 minutes. The forward has netted 16 goals in 28 matches across all competitions this season.
