Juventus has increased their offer for Koopmeiners
Juventus has increased their offer to Atalanta for midfielder Teun Koopmeiners in an effort to accelerate the deal.
The 26-year-old Dutch player is a top target for the Bianconeri this summer, and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is ready to intensify negotiations following the sales of Dean Heisen to Bournemouth and Matthias Soule to Roma.
Juventus recently made their first official offer of around €45 million to Atalanta, but this was lower than the €60 million requested by the Bergamo club.
Koopmeiners has already agreed personal terms with Juventus and is set to sign a five-year contract worth approximately €4.5 million per season.
Now, Juventus intends to increase their bid to €48–50 million, with additional potential payments of €5–7 million. According to the latest reports, Atalanta is not willing to release the player until after the UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid on August 14.
