Juventus is considering Bologna's head coach, Thiago Motta, for the position of head coach, as reported by journalist Santi Aouna.

It has been revealed that if the current coach, Massimiliano Allegri, does indeed depart from Juventus, the management prefers Motta to succeed him. The coach himself is open to considering an offer from the Bianconeri but is currently focused on his work at Bologna.

Thiago Motta is an Italian-Brazilian footballer, a defensive midfielder, and a coach. A product of Barcelona's youth academy, he played professionally for the club from 2001 to 2007.

On October 22, 2019, he was appointed as the head coach of Serie A club Genoa. He was replaced by Davide Nicola on December 28, 2019. Under Motta's guidance, Genoa played nine Serie A matches in the 2019/20 season (1 win, 3 draws, 5 losses), occupying the last 20th position in the league.

On July 8, 2021, he was appointed as the head coach of Serie A club Spezia, signing a contract for three years. And on September 12, 2022, he was appointed as the head coach of Italian club Bologna. Currently, his Bologna side sits in fourth place in the Serie A standings. After 27 matches, they have accumulated 51 points, holding a four-point lead over fifth place.

Napoli and Juventus met in the 27th round of the Italian Serie A in Naples. The Neapolitans won with a minimum score of 2-1.
