Juventus has extended the contract with scandal-plagued midfielder

Juventus has officially extended the contract with midfielder Nicolò Fagioli, as announced on the club's official website.
The new agreement is valid until June 30, 2028. According to sources, the player's salary will amount to 1.5 million euros per year. The midfielder joined Juventus at the age of 14 in 2015.
"We confirm what we reported several weeks ago: we support Nicolò Fagioli on his path, therapeutic and formative, and we want to provide him with all the support he needs in the coming months," the Juventus website states.
Fagioli has been suspended for 7 months due to betting and is required to undergo mandatory therapy for gambling addiction. Tonali has previously admitted to placing bets on matches involving his team during his time at Milan, and now he faces a three-year suspension.
Fagioli moved to Juventus from Cremonese in 2022. During this time, the 22-year-old midfielder has participated in 45 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
