Juventus is considering the possibility of loaning former Liverpool midfielder and vice-captain of the England national team, Jordan Henderson, who is reportedly pushing for a move from Saudi Arabia, as reported by Football Italia. Henderson, who won the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool in 2019, raised eyebrows with his move from Liverpool to the Saudi Professional League side Al-Ittihad last summer.

His move to the Middle East at the time garnered criticism, given his involvement in numerous campaigns for equality and inclusivity, as well as being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community in recent years before his transfer to Al-Ittihad.

Now, just over six months into his tenure with the Arabian club, Henderson is reportedly insisting on returning to Europe. Sky Sport Italia reports that Juventus, in search of midfield reinforcement, has engaged in talks with the 33-year-old player regarding a potential loan. Il Corriere dello Sport also published a similar story in its Saturday morning print edition.

However, according to Saturday reports, there is a slight contradiction in the desired duration of the potential deal. It is said that Henderson is seeking an option for an eighteen-month contract. If Juventus were to consider such a deal, they would likely need to make some adjustments to their squad first.

Juventus also has other targets to consider, and they are in negotiations with Udinese player Lazar Samardzic for a potential transfer.

Rumors suggest that Henderson has other options as well, including Ajax and Brighton, as reported by The Argus.
