Last week, one of the prestigious PGA tournaments, the RBC Heritage, took place from Thursday to Sunday, April 17 to 20.
The winner of the tournament was American golfer Justin Thomas. He finished the tournament with a score of -17, but that wasn't enough for a victory in regulation play. A playoff was necessary, where he faced Andrew Novak.
Justin edged out his opponent on an extra playoff hole. He made a birdie, while his opponent only managed par.
For Justin Thomas, this is his first PGA-level victory in the last three years. This title is his 16th career win.
As a reminder: Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy claimed his first Masters victory. Incidentally, this was already the 17th tournament of his career.
