Just FOUR minutes all season! Real Madrid refused to let a star leave — and now barely plays him
Real Madrid kept a promising forward in the summer but has barely used him since.
Details: Real Madrid striker Endrick has played just four official minutes in the 2026/27 season. The club's own statistics confirm that the 20-year-old Brazilian has made only one appearance, coming off the bench on September 15. The situation is particularly surprising because Madrid reportedly refused to let him leave during the summer transfer window.
According to Sports Mole, citing Trivela, Roma and AC Milan explored several ways to sign the Brazilian during the summer, including loans with purchase clauses and permanent transfers. However, Real Madrid refused to approve any arrangement that could see them permanently lose the forward.
José Mourinho reportedly insisted on keeping Endrick, with the club determined to have three centre-forward options available. However, the Brazilian remains behind Kylian Mbappé and Carlos Espí in the pecking order and has yet to make a single start this season.
Meanwhile, Milan and Roma continue to monitor his situation ahead of the January transfer window. Another loan remains a possibility, although Real Madrid are reluctant to give up control of the player's future.
It's worth noting that Endrick spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, where he scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 appearances. His current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2030.
Reminder: He's chosen! Endrick gives Milan the green light as his priority destination
