Jurčić Downplays Pyramids FC Advantage Over Zamalek in Super Cup Semifinal
Pyramids FC manager Krunoslav Jurčić has played down any form of advantage over Zamalek ahead of their Egyptian Super Cup semifinal. The manager believes that despite Zamalek's difficult situation, they remain a tough side in the league. The Royal Club are currently battling issues both on and off the field, including unpaid wages and operating under a new interim coach, Ahmed Abdel-Raouf. On the other hand, Pyramids FC are the favorites in this game, having secured six straight league wins and holding two continental titles. Regardless, Jurčić believes the team will need to put in the hard work to win the game.
"Zamalek’s current issues? We also have many absences," Jurčić said at the press conference ahead of the match.
"The game will be tough and will likely be decided by small details.
“The most difficult challenge I face is keeping the team at the top. Personally, my ambitions with the club are limitless.”
