Croatian coach Ivan Jurić has spent his entire managerial career in Italy. His most recent job was at Roma, where he was dismissed in mid-November. However, a new chapter could soon open for him outside of Italy.
Details: According to TBR Football, Jurić is among the candidates to take charge of Southampton, who recently parted ways with Russell Martin. Former Denmark national team coach Kasper Hjulmand is also on the shortlist.
Southampton is reportedly focusing on "free agents" to save both time and money, as hiring an already-employed manager would require paying compensation fees.
Reminder: Jurić lasted less than two months at Roma. His longest managerial stint was with Torino, where he served from 2021 to 2024.
