Julián Álvarez scored Atlético's fastest goal in La Liga in the last four years

The newcomer of Atlético Madrid, Julián Álvarez, is becoming an important asset in Diego Simeone's tactical setups. Since his transfer from Manchester City, the Argentine has already scored three goals for his new team.
The forward opened the scoring in the match against Real Sociedad, finding the net just 52 seconds into the game. This goal is the earliest for Atlético in La Liga since July 2020, when Álvaro Morata scored against Celta in 51 seconds.
Additionally, Álvarez's goal ranks among the five fastest goals scored by Atlético in the 21st century.
Interestingly, the Argentine forward has scored even faster in his career; while playing for Manchester City in the final of the last Club World Cup, Julián opened the scoring just 40 seconds into the match against Fluminense.
