Following Nacional’s 1-0 win over Atlético Nacional in their final group match, Colombian center-back Julián Millán acknowledged the frustration of being eliminated from the 2025 Copa Libertadores. Speaking in the mixed zone, Millán described the first half as difficult but praised the team's second-half improvement and fighting spirit.

“We’re left with the bitter taste of not meeting our goal. But personally, I feel I had a good Libertadores campaign,” said Millán, who emphasized the importance of the fans’ support throughout the tournament.

Familiar with his Colombian opponents, Millán noted that his experience helped in neutralizing their attack. Despite the disappointment, he stressed the importance of moving forward: “This is football. You win, lose, or draw. Now it’s about learning from this Copa and moving on.”

With their continental journey over, Nacional will now focus on regaining momentum in the domestic league and making a strong run in the Campeonato Uruguayo.
