Today, January 6th, in German Oberhof, the competitions continued as part of the fourth stage of the World Cup. Earlier, the men's pursuit race concluded with total Norwegian dominance, and now, a similar race unfolded among the women.

Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, after winning yesterday's sprint, led for a long time in this race. However, two missed shots in the final shooting allowed Julia Simon to overtake her fellow countrywoman. Interestingly, Braisaz-Bouchet could have equaled Tiril Eckhoff's record for consecutive victories. Until this point, Justine had secured four triumphs in a row.

  1. Julia Simon (France) — 31:45.2
  2. Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (France) +18.9
  3. Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (Norway) +44.4
  4. Elvira Oeberg (Sweden) +53.8
  5. Lou Jeanmonnot (France) +55.3
  6. Karoline Knotten (Norway) +1:00.0
  7. Franziska Preuss (Germany) +1:00.3
  8. Lisa Vittozzi (Italy) +1:12.4
  9. Jeanne Richard (France) +1:18.4
  10. Lena Haecki-Gross (Switzerland) +1:25.1

It's worth noting that the stage in Oberhof will conclude tomorrow with the relay races, and on January 10th, the fifth stage of the World Cup will kick off in Ruhpolding.
