Judges for Usyk-Fury rematch have been announced

The officials for the highly anticipated rematch between unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury have been revealed.

Details. Puerto Rican referee Roberto Ramirez Jr. will oversee the action inside the ring during the second bout between Usyk and Fury on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

The three judges scoring the fight at ringside will be:

• Gerardo Martinez (Puerto Rico)
• Pat Morley (Chicago)
• Fernando Barbosa (Miami)

As with their first encounter, this rematch for the world heavyweight championship will be officiated under the Middle East Professional Boxing Commission rather than the British Boxing Board of Control, which will once again oversee the undercard.

Reminder. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 21. The undercard kicks off at 5:00 PM Central European Time, with the main event between Usyk and Fury expected to begin around midnight on December 22, CET.

Notably, it was previously reported that an artificial intelligence-based judge will also monitor the fight, though its decision will not affect the official results.
