Joe Joyce issued a challenge to Parker following the New Zealander's victory over Zhilei

British boxer Joe Joyce extended an offer to Joseph Parker following the victory of the New Zealand pugilist over Zhilei Zhang.

The British pugilist proposed to Parker to engage in a rematch after Joseph completes his second bout with Zhilei.

"Great job, Joseph Parker. Beat Zhilei once again, and let's meet again," wrote the Briton on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Joyce defeated Parker by knockout in September 2022, securing the temporary WBO championship title. Later, the British fighter conceded the belt to Zhilei Zhang.

Yesterday, on March 8th, Parker triumphed over the Chinese pugilist by the judges' decision, wresting the title from him. A rematch option is outlined in their contract.

In the main event of yesterday's boxing spectacle in Riyadh, Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou in just the second round.
