Joshua assured fans that the bout against Wilder would indeed transpire
Heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has assured fans that the bout against Deontay Wilder will undoubtedly take place, as reported by TalkSport.
The Briton stated that he understands what people want, including himself, and that it will take some time for this significant fight to happen.
"I know what people want, what I want it's no secret it's Deontay Wilder. Finally, we have a night of boxing, even if we won't be in the ring simultaneously. It will happen, I promise you. It just takes time," said AJ.
Joshua himself does not shy away from the fact that he desires a match with Wilder. In his opinion, Wilder is also interested. Therefore, according to Anthony, when two fighters want to step into the ring, it usually happens. Now it's just a matter of leaving it to the teams of both boxers.
Joshua added that when this fight takes place, it will be monumental, even though a championship title will not be at stake. It's simply entertainment, and boxing fans worldwide will enjoy it.
As a reminder, on Saturday, December 23, in Saudi Arabia, Anthony Joshua will face Otto Wallin, while Deontay Wilder will face Joseph Parker.
