The Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou fight could take place on Friday, March 8th, as reported by journalist Mike Bohn.

According to an insider, the initially planned date for the bout was Saturday, March 9th, but it was changed to separate the event from UFC 299. This particular UFC event features the matchup between Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera, along with the clash between Dustin Poirier and Benoit St-Denis on the same night.

In the coming days, representatives of the athletes will hold a press conference in London to officially announce the fight date. The bout is set to occur in Saudi Arabia. In October, Ngannou faced Tyson Fury, and despite knocking down the British boxer in the third round, the Franco-Cameroonian fighter lost by a split decision.

Joshua's most recent bout took place the previous month against Sweden's Otto Wallin. Joshua emerged victorious with a technical knockout in the fifth round.
