Jonathan David Reveals His Dream Destination, Snubbing Premier League Clubs

Jonathan David has revealed which league he dreams of playing in the future, disappointing several Premier League clubs that were closely following him. The Lille forward, with 107 goals in 224 matches since his arrival in 2020, has been one of the standout figures in Ligue 1 and has sparked interest from teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and West Ham.
David's performance in the Champions League, where he scored nine goals, put him on the radar of several English clubs. However, the Canadian has other preferences, reports the Daily Mail. In a recent interview with the podcast "It's Called Soccer", he expressed his admiration for Spanish football:
"I grew up watching a lot of LaLiga and for me, that would be my preferred league. I'd like to play there someday."
Although Arsenal had him in their sights to bolster their attack this summer, David is free in June and will be able to negotiate with any team. Barcelona, a club he has been linked with in the past, could be his destination, although their difficult financial situation could complicate any deal.
