Johnny Gaudreau, who tragically passed away last year, welcomed his third child
Meredith Gaudreau, the wife of the hockey player Johnny Gaudreau who tragically died in a car accident, shared the joyful news on Instagram on Monday that she gave birth to a son last week, their third child together.
She posted pictures from the hospital bed with the newborn and their other children. The boy, whom she named Carter Michael, was born on April 1st.
“I love you so much my baby! We are going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever,” Meredith wrote.
She also mentioned that the child looks exactly like his father.
It seems Carter Michael will be raised as a hockey fan, as his mother has already dressed him in a hockey jersey with number 13, the number Johnny wore.
It is worth noting that the boy's birth came seven months after his father’s tragic death in a car accident on a highway in New Jersey. Johnny, who was riding a bicycle, was hit by a car driven by a drunk driver, Sean Higgins. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing, and the accused remains behind bars awaiting the judges' verdict.
