John Edward refuses to sell several Zamalek players

Zamalek's newly appointed sports director John Edward has firmly opposed any potential exits for midfielders Mahmoud Gehad and Mostafa El Zanary during the current transfer window, despite circulating rumors about their possible departures from the White Castle.

A club insider revealed to Al-Watan Sport that Edward considers both players indispensable after evaluating their consistent performances. "The sports director recognizes their value to the squad and has no intention of approving their transfers," the source stated.

The report also outlined Zamalek's broader recruitment strategy, confirming preliminary agreements with three Farco players - Yassin Marei, Amr Nasser, and Ahmed Sherif.
