On Friday, March 15, in the Canadian city of Kenmore, the men's sprint took place as part of the ninth stage of the 2023-24 World Cup.

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Thingnes Bø claimed the gold medal, covering the distance in 23 minutes and 37.0 seconds without any misses on the shooting range. Second place went to Italian biathlete Tommaso Giacomel, finishing 1 minute and 2.7 seconds behind the leader with one miss. The top three was completed by another Norwegian representative, Tarjei Bø, who trailed his brother by 1 minute and 4.2 seconds and also incurred one penalty.
