On the final day of the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany, the men's pursuit race took place.

Following the results of yesterday's sprint, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen took the lead, but today he committed three misses and lost to the winner, Johannes Dale, by almost two seconds. The third to cross the finish line was the overall leader, Johannes Thingnes Boe. Thus, not for the first time this season, the entire podium was occupied by Norwegians. The top 6 also included Jacquelin, Strelow, and Jacquelan.

It is worth noting that the sixth stage of the Biathlon World Cup will take place in Antholz, Italy, from January 18 to 21, and after that, athletes will head to the World Championships in the Czech Republic.
