On March 17th, in Canmore, Canada, the men's mass start race took place, marking the final race of the 2023/24 season.

There was hardly any suspense left, as Johannes Boe had already secured his fifth Big Crystal Globe and claimed the title of the season's best biathlete.

In the season's final race, Johannes Boe once again dominated. He completed the course in 36 minutes and 3 seconds, beating his closest pursuer, fellow Norwegian Johannes Dale, by 44 seconds. Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin joined the Norwegians on the podium.

It's worth noting that Johannes Boe's victory in this race earned him another Small Crystal Globe in the mass start standings. Interestingly, he won the individual and pursuit standings, while his brother Tarjei claimed the top spot in the sprint standings.
