The host's leader, Joel Embiid, amassed 50 points in this match. Firstly, he became the third basketball player in the franchise's history to score such a quantity or more points in the playoffs. Previously, this feat was achieved thrice by Allen Iverson and Billy Cunningham. Most notably, achieving 50 points required him to make less than 20 field goal attempts. Thus, he stands as the first player in NBA history to accomplish such a feat.

Philadelphia narrowed the deficit in the series; currently, they trail the Knicks 1:2.

It's worth mentioning that in the match against Boston, the Miami Heat executed 23 three-pointers out of 43 attempts, setting a franchise playoff record. Tyler Herro emerged as the most prolific scorer for the Miami Heat, garnering 24 points (7/13 from the field, 6/11 from beyond the arc), along with five rebounds and 14 assists.
