Joe Aribo Linked With Shock Return to Rangers as Contract Runs Down

Super Eagles star Joe Aribo is reportedly on the verge of a stunning return to Rangers, three years after leaving the Scottish giants for Southampton in July 2022.

With his current deal at St. Mary’s set to expire at the end of the season, uncertainty continues to grow around the midfielder’s future. The 29-year-old has found regular game time hard to come by this campaign, featuring in just seven of Southampton’s first 20 league matches, all of them from the bench.

Reports from Scotland indicate that Rangers are considering a January move to bring the midfielder back to Ibrox as they aim to strengthen their squad. Meanwhile, interest from abroad is also growing, with Göztepe and Trabzonspor from the Turkish Super Lig reportedly keeping tabs on his availability.
