Zhilei vs Wilder: will the fight between boxers take place

The coach of the Chinese boxer Zhang Zhilei has stated that they have signed a contract for a fight with Wilder.

In an interview with October Red, Sean George revealed that his athlete is ready to face Wilder, has signed a contract for the fight, and is waiting for the American's reaction.

"Everyone is talking about the fight; his manager Shelly Finkel is talking about it, but I haven't heard anything from Deontay Wilder himself, and until I hear from him, I will assume that this fight will not happen. Just sign the contract, and let's make this fight happen," George said.

However, Zhang's manager, Terry Lane, denied these rumors in a comment to NoSmokeBoxing. According to him, the contract has not been signed yet, and if it happens, the information will be disseminated through the appropriate information channels.
