Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has been fined €135,000 by a court in his hometown of Starnberg for damaging a neighbor's property by sawing through the roof of his garage with a chainsaw.

Details: According to Reuters, prosecutors originally accused Lehmann of cutting through one of the roof beams in July 2022, with the initial fine set at €420,000. However, the amount was reduced after an appeal.

Quote: "Mr. Lehmann has taken responsibility and reached a settlement with his neighbor," said Lehmann's lawyer Florian Ufer, as quoted by German media.

Ufer also mentioned that Lehmann had resolved another accusation related to evading parking fees at Munich Airport.
