Jean-Philippe Krasso undergoes knee surgery
The operation took place on Monday in Lyon
The Ivorian centre-forward had been suffering from persistent pain following a knee injury.
This is a major blow for Jean-Philippe Krasso and Paris FC. Although the Ligue 1 season is over, this is a setback for the Ivorian international.
Krasso travelled to Lyon last week to seek medical advice regarding the pain he was still experiencing following a knee injury. However, the trip resulted in surgery, reports L'Équipe.
The operation took place on Monday 18 May. However, the length of Jean-Philippe Krasso’s absence is not yet known. The Ivorian striker has not been selected by Emerse Fae for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
