Jean-Jacques Ndala Ngambo appointed referee for Al Masry SC vs CR Belouizdad match in CAF Confederation Cup
A FIFA referee since 2013, the Congolese official, who is one of the most experienced on the African continent, will take charge of the first leg of this quarter-final.
Jean-Jacques Ndala Ngambo has refereed several matches in CAF club competitions and international tournaments. He has participated in four African Cup of Nations tournaments, the most recent of which was in Morocco, where he officiated the opening match and the final between Senegal and Morocco.
Known for his mastery of match management and his rigour, the Congolese referee will be at the centre of decisions in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final between Al Masry SC (Egypt) and CR Belouizdad (Algeria). He has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football for this match, scheduled for 14 March at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
