One of Japan's national team leaders, Daichi Kamada, is leaving Lazio despite the Roman club's desire to retain him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Kamada will become a free agent next month and will join Crystal Palace. In the London club, he will reunite with coach Oliver Glasner, under whom he played successfully at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The details of Kamada's contract with Crystal Palace have not yet been disclosed.

Kamada joined Lazio last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent, signing a 1+2 contract. Lazio was close to extending his contract, but the player changed his mind at the last moment.

In 29 Serie A matches, Kamada scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
