Tonight at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, USA, a boxing event will take place.

The main event of the show will feature the popular YouTuber Jake Paul against former UFC fighter and current bare-knuckle boxing star Mike Perry.

Originally, Paul was set to fight the legendary Mike Tyson, but due to health issues, the bout was postponed to October, and Paul was given a new opponent.

Jake Paul made his professional boxing debut in 2020 against fellow YouTuber Ali Eson Gib, knocking him out in the first round. He then defeated former NBA star Nate Robinson. Following these victories, Paul set his sights on more prominent names, defeating former Bellator champion Ben Askren, former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, and MMA legend Anderson Silva.

In February last year, Paul faced Tyson Fury's brother, Tommy Fury, resulting in his first professional defeat, decided by the judges. Subsequently, he won on points against MMA star Nate Diaz and knocked out Andre Augusta. This year, he fought Ryan Burland, securing another early victory.

Mike Perry gained fame through his successful tenure in the UFC, debuting with a 7-0 record. He fought in the UFC for five years until 2021, earning a reputation for his thrilling and uncompromising fighting style. Although he never contended for a title, he left a lasting impression on fans with his performances. Perry transitioned to bare-knuckle boxing, joining the top promotion BKFC, where he has won all five of his fights, including victories over current UFC fighter Michael Page and former MMA stars Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
