Jake Paul has announced the staging of his upcoming bout
Boxer and vlogger Jake Paul has announced that he will soon engage in his next bout, as shared on his Instagram.
He wrote that the boxing event will take place on March 2 in Puerto Rico. The main attraction of the evening will be a bout featuring WBA, IBF, and WBO semi-lightweight champion Amanda Serrano against Nina Meinke. As of now, Paul's opponent remains unknown. Additionally, it is reported that, within the same event, American actor and boxer Javon Walton will make his professional debut. Walton is best known for his role as Ashtray in the HBO series "Euphoria."
Recall that in 2020, Jake Paul began participating in boxing matches, following in the footsteps of his brother Logan. In his debut bout against blogger AnEsonGib, Paul secured a victory with a knockout.
On August 29, 2021, Jake Paul faced 39-year-old former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, who had lost his last four UFC fights. This bout proved to be the most challenging for Paul, as Woodley seriously rocked Jake in the fourth round. However, Paul won the fight by a split decision, maintaining his undefeated record at 4-0.
On December 18, 2021, Jake Paul had a rematch with Tyron Woodley. Originally, Tommy Fury was set to be his opponent, but he withdrew from the fight due to health issues. Paul confidently led the fight and knocked Woodley out in the 6th round.
