The report states that each suitor is willing to pay €25 million for Jadon, but the player's hefty wage demands, reportedly £250,000 per week, have become a major stumbling block.
Currently, both sides are negotiating hard for the best contract terms, but it appears the club most willing to meet Sancho's salary expectations will have the upper hand.
Sancho is going through a rough patch: he has become surplus to requirements at Manchester United and has since bounced around on loan, yet still hasn't found a permanent home. His most recent club was Chelsea, but the London side declined to activate the buyout clause for the Englishman.
