Jacob Murphy the person of the day at the EPL according to Dailysports
On December 14, five matches took place in the English Premier League, delivering some very interesting results. Liverpool and Arsenal were unable to beat their opponents, while Newcastle ended their losing streak, winning for the first time in five matches.
The "Magpies" left no chances for Leicester at home, scoring four unanswered goals against van Nistelrooy's side. The unexpected hero of the victory was Jacob Murphy, who was recognized as the key figure of the day by Dailysports.
The 29-year-old Englishman scored two goals, which were his first of the season. Interestingly, in the previous match, he also recorded two assists, but his team lost to Brentford.
Newcastle currently sits in 11th place, but they are only two points behind the European competition spots.
