Iwundu Double Hands Rangers Late Win in Owerri

Enugu Rangers striker Chidozie Iwundu scored twice to secure a dramatic 2-1 away victory over Kun Khalifat in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League week 21 match at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri. Iwundu opened the scoring in the 44th minute with a fine finish as the hosts struggled to respond before halftime. Kun Khalifat pressed after the break and were rewarded in the 87th minute when James Ekebuike equalised.

Rangers, however, had the final say as Iwundu struck again in stoppage time to seal maximum points. The win moves Rangers to fifth with 33 points, while Kun Khalifat remain bottom on 18. Elsewhere, Warri Wolves beat Katsina United 2-0, while Rivers United edged Remo Stars 1-0 in Port Harcourt.
