The young Ivorians got off to the perfect start in their two-legged tie against their Ghanaian counterparts as part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ivory Coast Under-17s showed no nerves against their Ghanaian opponents. The young Elephants cruised to victory at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Ebimpé.
Played on Monday 27 April, the match ended in a 2-0 win for the Ivory Coast side. The Ghanaian U17s were powerless against the Ivorian dominance.
This is the first leg of their two-legged international friendly series ahead of the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco. The second match will be played on Thursday 30 April.
