Emerse Fae’s squad will play their first match on 14 June against Ecuador.
The Ivory Coast national team is putting the finishing touches to its preparations as the World Cup officially kicks off this Thursday, 11 June, in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But the Elephants themselves are set to officially begin the competition in a few days’ time.
In the meantime, manager Emerse Fae’s team are continuing their training sessions. The Ivorians’ first match is scheduled for 14 June against Ecuador. Kick-off is at 11 pm GMT in Philadelphia.
The Elephants’ second match is scheduled for 20 June at 8 pm GMT against Germany in Toronto. The Ivory Coast’s final group stage match is set for 25 June at 8 pm GMT against Curaçao in Philadelphia.
