Ivory Coast women’s team thrash Turks and Caicos Islands in the FIFA Series
The Ivorians crushed their opponents, scoring 15 goals.
Following their resounding victory over Mauritania in their opening match of this international friendly tournament, the Ivory Coast side have once again delivered a comprehensive victory. Facing the Turks and Caicos Islands women’s team, the Elephants pulled out all the stops. Diallo Ami stood out with a hat-trick (6th, 10th and 23rd minutes). Kreto Priscille shone with a five-goal haul (12th, 22nd, 27th, 47th and 52nd minutes).
Kouassi Rosemonde joined the scoring spree in the 27th minute with a goal. Kokora Sylviane scored the ninth goal. Ange Koko netted the tenth just before half-time. Konan Ines scored twice in the 78th and 83rd minutes. Frédérique Abrogoua rounded off the scoring in stoppage time to make it 15-1.
The Turks and Caicos Islands did, however, score a goal during the match.
