The match will be played in England, announced the Ivorian Football Federation.

Announcing that this friendly match is scheduled for 28 March 2026 at 2 pm in London, the federation said that the name of the stadium hosting the match will be revealed at a later date.

This is the second official friendly match for Ivory Coast during the FIFA international window in March 2026. A few weeks earlier, the Ivorian Football Federation announced that the Elephants will face Scotland on 31 March at Hill Dickinson Stadium at 7 :30 pm.

These friendlies are part of the Ivory Coast team's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico next summer. These test matches against South Korea and Scotland will allow Emerse Fae's staff to fine-tune their strategy for the final phase of the international competition, which kicks off on 11 June 2026.

Ivory Coast is placed in Group E alongside Germany, Curaçao and Ecuador.
