Ivory Coast National Cup: Assi Yapi Aristide appointed referee for the Africa Sports - ASEC Mimosas clash
Everything is falling into place for the heated Abidjan derby at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Stadium.
The two great rivals will face each other on Sunday 15 March at 5 pm GMT in the round of 32 of the 2026 edition of the Ivory Coast National Cup. With just a few days to go before this eagerly awaited event, the Ivorian Football Federation has revealed the identity of the officials who will referee the match.
Assi Yapi Aristide has been appointed as the main referee. He will be responsible for making decisions on the actions of this thrilling clash. He will be assisted by Tan Marius, first assistant referee, Tehia Kouame Séverin, second assistant referee, and Gnoan Ahoua Jean, fourth official.
It should be noted that Africa Sports and ASEC Mimosas have not faced each other for five years.
