Ivory Coast Federation issues statement on Elye Wahi amid spot-fixing allegations

The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) has released an official statement addressing reports linking Ivory Coast striker Elye Wahi to an alleged spot-fixing investigation during his time in Marseille.

In a statement released on Thursday, the FIF confirmed that Wahi will not be able to travel with the team's delegation to Canada for logistical reasons. According to the federation, the necessary administrative authorizations required for his entry into Canadian territory have not been obtained at this stage.
