Ivory Coast beat Scotland at Hill Dickinson Stadium
The Elephants secured a second victory during this international break.
Emerse Faé’s side followed up on their convincing win against South Korea a few days ago. On Tuesday 31 March, the Ivorian national team got the better of Scotland following an intense international friendly at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Ivorians sealed their victory in the first half. Nicolas Pépé opened the scoring in the 13th minute. The two teams went into the break with the score at 1-0. But after the restart, neither Ivory Coast nor Scotland managed to score. At the final whistle, the Elephants emerged victorious thanks to Nicolas Pépé’s solitary goal.
With this second win in as many matches during the March 2026 FIFA window, the Ivory Coast national team has made a strong start to their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
