The young player has been loaned out with an option to buy by LYS Sassandra, a club in the Ivorian second division.

Prince Zagadou will play in Belgium throughout the 2026–2027 season. The Ivory Coast U20 international has been loaned by his Ivorian club, LYS Sassandra, to the Belgian side Cercle Bruges. This is a loan deal with an option to buy.

However, the young Ivorian winger will play for the Belgian club’s reserve team. A versatile player, Prince Zagadou can play on the wing as well as up front. For his first spell in Europe, the 18-year-old Ivorian will be looking to establish himself in Cercle Bruges’s reserve team.

Before bringing Prince Zagadou to Belgium, Cercle Bruges were impressed by his potential, said Luciano Murchio, the Belgian club’s Technical Director.

“We are delighted to welcome Prince to Cercle Bruges. He is an attacking player whom we have been monitoring closely over the last few months and in whom we see a great deal of potential.”
