Ivorian Striker Christian Kouamé Scores First Goal for Empoli in Serie A!

In Saturday's 1-1 draw with Como, Christian Kouamé scored a crucial equalizer to finally open his goal account with Empoli. With a perfect header, the Ivorian striker demonstrated his skill and shown that he can play a significant role in the relegation fight.

A Moment of Decision

Empoli needed motivation after falling behind 1-0, and Kouamé provided it in the 75th minute. He got up to meet Pezzella's well placed cross with a powerful header that went into the net, saving his team a vital point.

The End of an Extended Wait

Kouamé's goal drought came to an end with this goal; his previous Serie A goal was with Fiorentina in April 2024. He had only contributed one assist in seven games since joining Empoli in January.
