Ivorian Ligue 1: two matches from Matchday 2 postponed
The fixtures between ES Agboville and OFC Adiaké, and SOL FC and Stade d’Abidjan, will not take place this Wednesday, 7 October, as originally planned.
Both matches were due to be played in the afternoon at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium. ES Agboville were due to host OFC Adiaké at 3.30 pm GMT, whilst SOL FC were due to face Stade d’Abidjan at 6 pm GMT.
However, as the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium, which was due to host these two fixtures, is ultimately unavailable, the Professional League has decided to postpone the matches until a later date. The new fixtures for both matches will be announced at a later date by the Professional League.
The four teams will therefore have to wait before playing their second matchday of the Ivorian professional league. However, the third fixture scheduled for 7 October will go ahead as planned. It will see ISCA take on Bouaké FC at 3.30 pm GMT.
The second matchday of the Ivorian Ligue 1, which began on Sunday 4 October, concludes this Wednesday. Five matches have already been played.
