Ivorian Ligue 1: Tidiane Diabate takes the lead in the scoring charts
The Korhogo striker has overtaken ASEC Mimosas’ Souleymane Fofana.
The champion of the 2025–2026 Ivorian Ligue 1 season has been known for a few days following ASEC Mimosas’ official coronation. However, whilst the winner is known, the race for the top scorer title remains open. Having long led the standings, ASEC Mimosas striker Souleymane Fofana, was overtaken at the end of matchday 28.
Tidiane Diabate of Korhogo has taken the lead in the goalscoring charts. Thanks to his brace on matchday 28, Diabate has now scored 14 goals. He is followed by two players from the Ivorian champions, Souleymane Fofana and Bakare Kevin Ouato. Both strikers have 12 goals to their name.
The two remaining matchdays to conclude the 2025–2026 Ivorian Ligue 1 season promise to be decisive in the race for the top scorer title.
