Ivorian Ligue 1: Stade d'Abidjan lose to Stella Club

The Adjame-based club secured a narrow victory.

The Ivorian professional league reached its matchday 28 on Saturday 9 May. Two matches were scheduled to kick off the day. Stella Club, playing at home, beat Stade d'Abidjan. The home side took the lead within the first ten minutes of the match.

Ashiraf Ojo opened the scoring in the 6th minute. But despite attempts from both sides, neither team found the net again. At the final whistle, Stella Club won 1-0.

In the second fixture on 9 May, Korhogo secured a win away at Racing Club. The visitors were able to count on Tidiane Diabate for this victory. He scored a brace (77th and 90th minutes) to secure the win for his team. Final score: 2-0.
