Ivorian Ligue 1: Stade d’Abidjan announces the signing of a goalkeeper
Zohin Fortunatus joins Stade d’Abidjan. The Ivorian Ligue 1 club confirmed the goalkeeper’s signing on Tuesday 25 August.
“Stade d’Abidjan is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Zohin Fortunatus from ES Bingerville.”
Zohin Fortunatus has signed for the Ivorian professional league club for the next two seasons. He will therefore wear the blue and red colours until 2028.
But Stade d’Abidjan is not just signing new players this summer. The Ivorian club is also focusing on continuity by extending the contracts of some of its players. Before the signing of goalkeeper Zohin Fortunatus was made official, the Blue and Reds had announced that they had extended their captain Ben Touré’s contract by one season.
“Stade d’Abidjan is delighted to announce the contract extension of its captain, Ben Touré.
“Loyal to the Blue and Red colours, our captain is continuing his journey with the club and is now tied to Stade d’Abidjan until 2027.”
Stade d’Abidjan, who finished sixth in the Ivorian Ligue 1 table last season, have set their sights on doing even better in the 2026–2027 campaign.
